My mom took me out to lunch today and we had so much fun. Nostalgia and sentimentality were everywhere and made us both feel great. When we left, my mom backed up into my car but even though she felt terrible, it was still a soothing day and I told her not to worry about it. Who cares about material things! Anyway, friendship is the theme of this month's song. Friends are important, aren’t they? Unfortunately for those of us that are workaholics, sometimes friendships take a back seat. The song was inspired by someone telling me that I had no friends and all I did was work all the time. Well it might be true. I do work a lot and don’t have as much time as I once had to go out, but please don't mistake this for not wanting to go out, relax, kick back, and have fun. I do. So I wrote this song called Friendless. It has a twist ending at the end and I think you’ll enjoy where the song goes. This one is all about me, my piano and exasperated vocals. This music video has only me in it.  I thought I’d emphasize being friendless despite a stark contrast between two very different versions of me - one with a full grizzly beard and one clean shaven.
